The Utah State football program will be getting a bunch of transfers from Arkansas State as players follow new head coach Blake Anderson to Logan, Utah, and now the Aggies will be getting one from Miami.

On Monday afternoon, linebacker Patrick Joyner Jr. announced via Twitter that he will be making the move from Florida to Utah, following new defensive coordinator Ephraim Banda and inside linebackers coach Mike Zuckerman.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, Joyner Jr. played in nine games over three seasons for the Hurricanes, totaling six tackles. According to multiple reports, he entered the transfer portal last Tuesday.

A native of Homestead, Florida, Joyner Jr. was listed as a four-star prospect by ESPN in high school and a three-star prospect by 247 Sports and Rivals.
