Hank Aaron — one of the greatest baseball players in history — passed away Friday, Jan. 22. He was 86.

  • Aaron famously broke Babe Ruth’s all-time home run record.
  • Aaron played mostly for the Braves in Milwaukee and then Atlanta later in his career.
  • “Aaron was admired as a model of steady excellence on the diamond, even though he lacked the swaggering charisma of Ruth or the exuberant flair of his contemporaries Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente,” according to The Washington Post.
