Before the start of the 2020-21 season, the Utah Jazz made a late roster addition by signing guard Shaquille Harrison.
Now they have parted ways with the seldom-used defensive specialist, announcing Wednesday afternoon they have waived him.
KSL Sports’ Ben Anderson was first to report that the transaction would take place.
In his fourth season in the NBA out of Tulsa, the 6-foot-4, 189-pound Harrison appeared in 17 games for the Jazz, averaging exactly one point in 3.3 minutes per contest.
Utah’s roster is now at 13 players, meaning it has two spots open. On Tuesday, teams were allowed to start signing players to 10-day contracts.
