Wright has played in 35 games for the Pistons this year, starting 30 of them, the most games he’s started in a season in his career. He’s averaging 10.5 points, 5.1 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals in one of his most productive seasons in the NBA thus far.
Wright will be traded for guard Cory Joseph and two-second round picks. Sacramento’s two second-round picks are a 2021 selection via the Los Angeles Lakers and their own 2024 pick, according to Wojnarowski.
Wright is a six-year NBA vet. He’s played for the Toronto Raptors, who originally selected him with the 20th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, the Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and Pistons.
