Monday night’s NFL playoff game between the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings was supposed to be a home game for the Rams.
But the fires burning in Los Angeles County forced the NFL to relocate the game to the Arizona Cardinals’ State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as the Deseret News previously reported.
Now, some football fans have taken to social media to complain about the ticketing process triggered by the game’s move. Rams fans, in particular, are worried about high ticket costs as they deal with fire-related stress and planning an unexpected trip to Arizona.
How were fans with tickets to Rams-Vikings affected?
Tickets for the relocated game went on sale Friday. They were first available through a presale for Rams season ticket members.
ESPN NFL Nation’s Sarah Barshop reported that 25,000 tickets were purchased by Rams season ticket members within the first hour of the presale.
Rams Team President Kevin Demoff announced on X that the team will have “at least 15 buses and will have 750 spots available to go back and forth to” Monday’s game for the season ticket holders.
Tickets were then made available to Cardinals season ticket members and Rams single game buyers the next hour before they were made available to the general public.
