Here’s a recap of the results from this week’s two region swimming meets in Class 3A as the teams prepare for the state tournament at BYU on Feb. 7 and 8.

Canyon View’s boys and girls swept the Region 12 championships, while Judge Memorial’s boys and girls won the Region 13 titles.

The region meets featured two swimmers who recorded the best 3A time of the season.

Canyon View’s Kurt Morgan lowered his 3A-best time of 46.28 in the 100 free to 46.05, while teammate Sean Cannon improved his 200 individual medley time for 2:04.24 to 2:03.69.
