For the second straight year, the Farmington Nixelles ruled the 6A drill team state championships.

Farmington finished first in all three categories — just like it did a year ago — in a dominant performance at UVU on Saturday. Bingham finished runner-up in all three categories to finished second overall, with Davis, Corner Canyon and Pleasant Grove rounding out the top five teams.

The title was the fourth in the seven-year history since Farmington opened its doors for the 2018-2019 school year. The Nixelles won 5A titles in 2020 and 2021, and then in its first two years in 6A in 2022 and 2023 it finished second to Bingham.

After Saturday’s performances, Farmington has now gone back-to-back for the second time in school history.
