Real Salt Lake delivered a thriller for the home fans Wednesday night.

RSL won its group stage matchup with Club America in Leagues Cup action at America First Stadium, rallying to win on penalty kicks after the visitors found the equalizer in stoppage time.

Real Salt Lake goal keeper Rafael Cabral was the hero of the night, finishing with eight saves in regulation and stopping three of four Club America shots in penalty kicks as RSL won 3-1.

Diego Luna and William Agada both scored goals for RSL, during the first half, before Érick Sánchez tied the game at 2-2 in the 97th minute.
