North Summit found the end zone just before halftime, as Boady Pace caught a 15-yard pass from Ben Richins. Although the second half was scoreless for both teams, South Summit’s first-half surge ensured their victory.

Box Elder 24, Layton 6

Box Elder surged in the second half to defeat Layton with a 24-6 nonregion victory. Layton initially took the lead with Carter Hughes’ 67-yard punt return in the first quarter. However, Box Elder responded decisively, with Judd Howells scoring a 2-yard touchdown run near the end of the second quarter to even the score. In the third quarter, Korbin Jeppesen intercepted a pass and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown, giving the Bees their first lead. Despite being blanked in the third quarter, Sky View found their rhythm in the final period, with Jack Clark leading the charge, accounting for two touchdowns and a field goal.
