LaVell Edwards Stadium will be rocking once again in 2025.
BYU’s season opener against Portland State has officially sold out, the program announced Thursday on social media.
BYU has no remaining tickets available, meaning the only way to get into the game is through the online resale market.
The Week 1 sellout continues a trend of impressive attendance for the Cougars. BYU sold out five of its six home games in 2024, averaging 62,489 fans per contest in total — a greater amount than Edwards Stadium’s listed 62,073-seat capacity.
Additionally, the Cougars’ road matchup with rival Utah this past November set a Rice-Eccles Stadium record with 54,383 fans in attendance.
According to BYU athletic director Brian Santiago, Cougar football season tickets for 2025 “sold out almost immediately,” with BYU selling out of its allotted 14,000 student ROC passes in less than 60 minutes.
