Saturday marked the end of an incredible era in college football as longtime ESPN analyst Lee Corso worked his final appearance on the network’s ‘College GameDay’ television show.

As Saturday’s show was winding down, the official BYU Football and Utah Athletics accounts on X paid homage to the 90-year-old Corso, who has been on ‘College GameDay’ since it began in 1987.

BYU posted a photo of Corso and legendary Cougars coach LaVell Edwards embracing on the field following the 1979 Holiday Bowl when Corso was the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers, a thriller of a game that the Hoosiers won, 38-37.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for College Football.#GoUtes“.
