Devon Dampier delivered on the hype in his Utah debut — and social media let it be known.

Utah’s new QB1, one of college football’s most electric dual-threat quarterbacks, led the Utes to a 43-10 win over UCLA at the Rose Bowl late Saturday night.

With the win, Utah, one year after limping to a 5-7 season, breathed life into its program again.

Dampier completed 21 of 25 throws for 206 yards and two passing touchdowns while adding 87 yards and a rushing touchdown on 16 carries before being sat late in the fourth quarter.
