BYU will be spending Thanksgiving in the Aloha State next year.
The Cougars will be among the eight teams competing in the 2026 Maui Invitational, the program announced Wednesday.
The tournament will be played Nov. 23-25, 2026 at the Lahaina Civic Center in Maui.

BYU will be joined in Hawaii by Clemson, Colorado State, Ole Miss, Providence, VCU, Washington and fellow Big 12 foe Arizona.
This will be the Cougars’ fifth appearance in the event, having most recently played there in 2019. BYU’s best finish came in 1992, losing to No. 1 Duke in the championship game after having stunned No. 9 Oklahoma on a Kevin Nixon buzzer-beater in the semifinals.
As for Thanksgiving 2025, the Cougars will head to Orlando to play in the Terry’s Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational.
