For the second time this season, BYU commit Legend Glasker scored a pair of touchdowns in a game when Lehi beat Desert Hills 42-14 last week.

Glasker’s first touchdown of the night came with three minutes left in the first quarter, as his 25-yard scoring grab gave the Pioneers a 21-0 lead.

Glasker, a 6-foot-1 wide receiver rated a three-star recruit by 247 Sports composite rankings, also caught a 9-yard touchdown with under a minute remaining in the second quarter to push Lehi to a 35-0 lead at halftime.

It’s the second time this season that Glasker had a two-touchdown game. He also had two scores in the team’s season-opening win over Maple Mountain.

The Pioneers (3-1) will host Weber this Friday in their final game before Region 3 play begins.

It’s a final tune-up before the state’s top region gets into action — the five-team region composed of Lehi, Corner Canyon, Lone Peak, Skyridge and American Fork have combined to go 18-2 thus far this season.

Weber enters this week’s game against Lehi with a 2-2 record, though the Warriors are on a two-game win streak after a slow start to the season.

For the first time this season, Lyons and Folsom struggled — and it came in a mighty way against a nationally ranked opponent.

The Bulldogs were no match for Mission Viejo, which jumped to No. 9 in MaxPreps’ national rankings after the win, moving up two spots. Folsom fell 18 spots to No. 48.

Lyons was forced into several mistakes during the loss, including his second interception of the season. Mission Viejo sacked Lyons eight times and had two safeties in the game, the first coming midway through the second quarter when Lyons was flagged for intentional grounding in the end zone, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Lyons was outdueled by Mission Viejo’s star quarterback Luke Fahey, an Ohio State commitment. Fahey completed 21 of 31 passes for 323 yards and five touchdowns.

Folsom will return home to try and get back on track, facing Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in its home opener.
