There were 50 Utah ties on active rosters for the second week of the 2025 NFL season.

That group of players accounted for six touchdowns and provided a handful of star efforts on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

Here’s how each Utah tie performed during Week 2 of the season.

Utah ties in NFL box scores, Week 2

Packers 27, Commanders 18

Green Bay

  • Zayne Anderson, S, BYU and Stansbury High: Not active for game with a knee injury.
  • Chris Brooks, RB, BYU: Had three receptions for 27 yards.
  • Jordan Love, QB, Utah State: Started at quarterback and completed 19 of 31 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns — of 5 and 8 yards — while adding three carries for 12 yards. The 8-yard TD pass gave Green Bay a 24-10 lead with 8:57 to play.

Washington

  • Matt Gay, K, Utah and Orem High: Made 1 of 3 field goals — hitting a 51-yarder, while missing from 58 and 52 yards — and hit an extra point.
  • Bobby Wagner, MLB, Utah State: Started at linebacker and had a team-high 11 tackles, including three solo stops.
  • Mitch Wishnowsky, P, Utah: Not active for game.

Ravens 41, Browns 17

Baltimore

  • Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU: Started at outside linebacker and had a solo tackle and a QB hurry on the game’s first play before leaving the game with a hamstring injury early in the second quarter.

Cleveland

  • Mohamoud Diabate, LB, Utah: Had an assisted special teams tackle.

Bengals 31, Jaguars 27

Cincinnati

  • Ryan Rehkow, P, BYU: Had three punts with a 55.3 per-yard average — and 49.0 yard net — and two downed inside the 20.

Jacksonville

  • Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah: Started at linebacker and had two tackles (including a solo stop), a QB hurry, a pass deflection and a fourth-quarter interception he returned 22 yards to the Cincinnati 12.
  • Tim Patrick, WR, Utah: Was targeted once but did not have any receptions.

Cowboys 40, Giants 37

Dallas

  • No Utah ties on roster.

New York

  • Jaxson Dart, QB, Corner Canyon High and Roy High: Played three snaps and had one carry for minus-3 yards.

Lions 52, Bears 21

Detroit

  • Penei Sewell, OT, Desert Hills High: Started at right tackle.
  • Sione Vaki, RB, Utah: Not active for game with hamstring injury.

Chicago

  • Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah: Started at cornerback and had two solo tackles before leaving with a groin injury during the second quarter. He did not return to the game.
  • Braxton Jones, OT, Southern Utah and Murray High: Started at left tackle.
  • Noah Sewell, LB, Orem High: Had five tackles, including two solo stops and a special teams tackle, and a tackle for loss.

Patriots 33, Dolphins 27

New England

  • Khyiris Tonga, DT, BYU and Granger High: Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics.

Miami

  • Zach Wilson, QB, BYU and Corner Canyon High: Did not play.

49ers 26, Saints 21

San Francisco

  • Fred Warner, MLB, BYU: Had a team-high 11 tackles, including seven solo tackles and a tackle for loss, in leading the 49ers’ defensive effort. Warner also had a pass deflection and forced a fumble that he recovered late in the third quarter, one that led to a San Francisco touchdown and flipped the momentum, as New Orleans was driving to potentially take the lead.

New Orleans

  • Terrell Burgess, S, Utah: Promoted from practice squad for the game and played as a reserve.
  • Rashid Shaheed, WR/Ret., Weber State: Started at wide receiver and had four receptions for 52 yards (including a 39-yarder) and his first touchdown of the season, a 3-yard grab midway through the third quarter. He also had two punt returns for 23 yards.
  • Devaughn Vele, WR, Utah: Scored his first touchdown as a Saint, when he caught a 3-yard pass in the fourth quarter to make the score 26-21.
  • Jonah Williams, DE, Weber State: Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics.

Bills 30, Jets 10

Buffalo

  • Cole Bishop, S, Utah: Started at safety and tied for the team lead with five tackles (four solo), while adding a 10-yard sack, a tackle for loss and a QB hurry.
  • Jackson Hawes, TE, Highland High: Caught one pass for 5 yards.
  • Taron Johnson, CB, Weber State: Not active for game with a quadriceps injury.
  • Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah: Caught a team-high four passes for 37 yards, including a long of 18 yards.

New York

  • Jay Tufele, DT, Bingham High: Not active for game due to illness.

Seahawks 31, Steelers 17

Seattle

  • Connor O’Toole, LB, Utah: Not active for game.

Pittsburgh

  • Miles Killebrew, S, Southern Utah: Had two solo special teams tackles.
  • Jaylen Warren, RB, Utah State, Snow College and East High: Started at running back and rushed for a team-best 48 yards on 14 carries while also leading Pittsburgh in receiving, as he grabbed four receptions for 86 yards. That included a 65-yard reception in the third quarter that got Pittsburgh inside the red zone, to the Seattle 5.

Rams 33, Titans 19

Los Angeles

  • Puka Nacua, WR, BYU and Orem High: Started at wide receiver and scored his first touchdown of the season on a 45-yard run six minutes into the contest. In addition to the 45-yard run, he had a team-high eight receptions for 91 yards.

Tennessee

  • Cody Barton, LB, Utah and Brighton High: Started at linebacker and had five tackles, including two solo stops, as well as an interception and a pass deflection. His interception, which came in the final minute of the first half, led to the Titans scoring a field goal on the half’s final play.

Cardinals 27, Panthers 22

Arizona

  • Simi Fehoko, WR, Brighton High: Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics.

Carolina

  • Brady Christensen, OG, BYU and Bountiful High: Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics.

Colts 29, Broncos 28

Indianapolis

  • No Utah ties on active roster.

Denver

  • Garett Bolles, OT, Utah, Snow College and Westlake High: Started at left tackle.
  • Jonah Elliss, OLB, Utah: Had a solo tackle — a 5-yard tackle for loss after Indianapolis reached the red zone — and a QB hurry that led to an incompletion on a fourth-down attempt.
  • Karene Reid, LB, Utah and Timpview High: Played as a reserve but did not record any statistics.

Philadelphia

  • No Utah ties on active roster.

Kansas City

  • Jeffrey Bassa, LB, Kearns High: Had two solo special teams tackles.
  • Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State: Not active for game with knee injury.

Atlanta

  • Tyler Allgeier, RB, BYU: Had 16 carries for 76 yards and scored on a 5-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter for his first touchdown of the season. He also had one reception for 4 yards.
  • Kaden Elliss, LB, Judge Memorial High: Started at inside linebacker and had four tackles, including two solo stops, and a QB hurry. That included a fourth-down stop for no gain in the first quarter that led to a turnover on downs.
  • Clark Phillips III, CB, Utah: Not active for game.

Minnesota

  • No Utah ties on active roster.
