0:19 — BYU has battled all the way back.

Will Ferrin made a 24-yard field goal to cut the deficit to seven points. Arizona 24, BYU 17.
The shorthanded BYU defense will now be tasked with playing hero and setting up one final drive for the offense.
11:14 — Disaster for the BYU defense.
On 4th-and-1, Arizona running back Kedrick Reescano took a handoff 36 yards for a touchdown to potentially put this game away for the Wildcats. Arizona 24, BYU 14.
The Cougars have now surrendered 336 total yards and allowed Arizona to run for 5.7 yards per carry tonight. Additionally, the Wildcats are 3 of 4 on fourth down tries.

Third quarter
Arizona 17, BYU 14
0:16 — Bear Bachmeier makes another mistake.
After somehow corralling a high snap, Bachmeier scrambled out and elected to huck a pass downfield to Carsen Ryan, only to be intercepted by Dalton Johnson.
The interception was Bachmeier’s second of the game and third over the past two games.
7:13 — BYU’s defense finally makes a play.
Arizona’s 14-play, 71-yard drive to open the third quarter ended at the goal line with an interception by Isaiah Glasker. Arizona 17, BYU 14.

Halftime
Arizona 17, BYU 14
Second quarter
Arizona 17, BYU 14
0:18 — Things are falling apart fast for BYU.
Bear Bachmeier’s 2-minute drill suffered an abrupt end as he was intercepted by Treydan Stukes. Arizona 17, BYU 14.
BYU has now committed four turnovers — five if you include the failed fake punt earlier tonight — over the past six quarters.
0:40 — BYU led 14-0 at one point tonight, but it’s been all Arizona since then.
Noah Fifita connected with Chris Hunter for a 35-yard touchdown to give the Wildcats their first lead of the game. Arizona 17, BYU 14.
The Cougars have now allowed 195 yards from Arizona in the first half.
2:38 — Will Ferrin’s recent struggles continue.
BYU’s kicker missed a field goal for the third straight week, this time from 44 yards out. BYU 14, Arizona 10.
Two weeks ago, Ferrin was riding a program record streak of 25 consecutive made field goals. Now, he’s missed three of his last four attempts.
9:32 — Arizona makes a 24-yard field goal. BYU 14, Arizona 10.
The Wildcats drove inside the 10-yard line, but the Cougar defense clamped down to prevent a touchdown and force the kick.
But the 10-play, 38-yard drive saw a major loss for BYU, as defensive tackle Keanu Tanuvasa was ejected for targeting. He will be disqualified for the remainder of the contest, taking another starter off the field for an already-shorthanded Cougar defense.
12:51 — BYU turns it over on downs — in unorthodox fashion.
The Cougars faked a punt for the second consecutive week, but this time Sam Vander Haar was tackled short of the line to gain on 4th-and-9, giving Arizona possession at the BYU 44-yard line. BYU 14, Arizona 7.
15:00 — We have a weather delay in Tucson.
Officials paused the game just before the start of the second quarter due to lightning within eight miles of the stadium.
The delay ultimately lasted an hour and 14 minutes.
First quarter
BYU 14, Arizona 7
0:32 — Arizona strikes back.
Noah Fifita found Kris Hudson for a 17-yard touchdown to cut the Cougars’ lead in half. BYU 14, Arizona 7.
The Wildcats traveled 75 yards across eight plays on the drive, picking up a 4th-and-2 at midfield that kept their possession alive and set up the eventual score.
Arizona is averaging 7.4 yards per carry in the first quarter — a major red flag for BYU’s typically stout run defense.
4:15 — Last week, Parker Kingston took a screen pass 54 yards for a touchdown.
Today, he wasted no time going even farther.
Bear Bachmeier fired a perfect deep throw to Kingston, who outran everyone once again for a 75-yard touchdown. BYU 14, Arizona 0.
Kingston ran for 47 yards after the catch into the end zone, scoring his 10th career touchdown.
Additionally, that was the first passing touchdown allowed by Arizona all season.
8:55 — Arizona has no early answer for LJ Martin.
BYU’s star running back has ran for 49 yards already tonight, with his latest carry going for 28 yards into the end zone for the first touchdown of the ballgame. BYU 7, Arizona 0.
Martin’s touchdown is his fourth of the season and 18th of his career. He’s also crossed the 500-yard mark for the season here in the first quarter.
