It’s rivalry week in Utah, as No. 15 BYU prepares to host No. 23 Utah at LaVell Edwards Stadium next weekend.
Sunday was also a good day from a scoring standpoint for a former Ute and a former Cougar.
Tim Patrick, who starred at Utah, caught a 26-yard touchdown pass for his first touchdown with Jacksonville after being traded to the Jaguars this offseason. That TD grab came in a 20-12 loss to Seattle.

Taysom Hill, the former BYU quarterback, also scored for the first time this season after he returned to action last week. He started the year on the physically unable to perform list after suffering a torn ACL in Week 13 of the 2024 season before being activated in Week 5 this year.
Hill only had one touch in New Orleans’ 25-19 loss to New England, but he made it count as Hill scored a 1-yard touchdown run on a third-and-goal play in the second quarter.
Patrick and Hill’s touchdowns were among the highlights for a season-high 55 Utah ties on active rosters for Week 6 of the NFL season.
