Region 1

Davis 38, Weber 23

Farmington 26, Layton 10

Skyridge (7-2) secured a 26-14 victory over American Fork (6-4) in a Region 3 contest. Despite a scoreless first quarter, Skyridge took control in the second with Kaneal Sweetwyne’s 35-yard touchdown run and Lincoln Tahi’s 9-yard touchdown run securing a 13-7 halftime lead. Ty Holmstead caught a touchdown pass from Nate Childs in the second and third quarters for American Fork, but the Cavemen couldn’t muster any points in the fourth quarter. Adam Warren stretched Skyridge’s lead further in the third with a 50-yard touchdown reception from Sweetwyne. Omarian Sanders sealed the win with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Jagger Fountaine in the fourth quarter.


Region 4

Hunter 14, Taylorsville 3

Hunter (5-5) rallied in the second half to secure a 14-3 victory over Taylorsville (2-8) in a Region 4 matchup. The Wolverines, trailing 3-0 at halftime, scored all their points in the second half, starting with a 7-yard touchdown run by Sione “Isi” Moungaafi with 7:25 left in the third quarter. Tevita Tongi extended Hunter’s lead with a decisive 12-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter. Taylorsville’s only points came from a first-quarter 24-yard field goal by Michael Scardina. Hunter’s defense shut out the Warriors for the remainder of the game, preserving the Wolverines’ fourth win of the season.


Region 5

Northridge 24, Clearfield 20

Northridge (3-6) secured a narrow 24-20 victory over Clearfield (4-6) in a Region 5 matchup, thanks to a decisive touchdown with 55 seconds remaining. Grant Slater connected with Rylen Rude for a 5-yard touchdown pass, putting the Knights ahead late in the fourth quarter. Clearfield mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter with a 17-yard touchdown pass from Brik Barlow to Landon Hittle and a 12-yard run by Sean Brant, but fell short. Northridge’s Andrew Ortiz earlier contributed a 4-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. The Falcons took an early lead with a 2-yard touchdown pass from Landon Hittle to Alyric Kelley.

Fremont 41, Roy 21

Fremont (8-2) secured a 41-21 victory over Roy (3-6) in a Region 5 matchup, thanks to a dominant second quarter. Manase Tuatagaloa led the Silverwolves with four touchdown passes, three of them to Slade Parker, including a 9-yard strike with 6:34 left in the second quarter that initiated a 27-point surge for Fremont. Parker also added a 40-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Roy’s Drayden Esplin scored twice on the ground, but the Royals couldn’t recover after Fremont’s second-quarter outburst. Woods Cross 43, Viewmont 8

Liam Benson and Jesse Simmons led Woods Cross (7-3) to a commanding 43-8 victory over Viewmont (4-6) in the Region 6 matchup. The Wildcats established dominance early, as Viliami Tapa’atoutai opened the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Simmons extended the lead with a 52-yard run, and Benson added a 2-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Woods Cross continued their offensive onslaught with Tapa’atoutai and Benson each securing additional scores in the final quarter. Viewmont’s lone bright spot came late in the fourth quarter when Brady Clegg connected with Jack Savage for a 65-yard touchdown pass.

Olympus 35, Bountiful 28

Olympus (5-5) edged out Bountiful (5-5) with a 35-28 victory in a Region 6 matchup, rallying in the second half. The Titans secured the win with a 13-yard touchdown pass from Preston Ferran to Adam Bywater with 2:46 remaining in the fourth quarter. Olympus had earlier gained momentum with an explosive 85-yard kick return by Luke Campbell and a defensive touchdown by Tommy Olson’s 22-yard fumble recovery. Bountiful’s Hudson Malmrose contributed with two touchdowns, but the Redhawks couldn’t find the end zone in the final quarter. The Titans capitalized on key plays to seal the win.


Region 7

Timpview 34, Spanish Fork 7

Timpview (4-5) surged past Spanish Fork (3-6) with a decisive 34-7 victory in a Region 7 matchup. Timpview took control in the second quarter with Dennis Tua’one catching a 78-yard touchdown pass from Cole Engemann, followed by a 5-yard touchdown run by Taani Tuha. Tuha continued to dominate with a 1-yard run and a 63-yard sprint in the third quarter, stretching the Thunderbirds’ lead. Jackson Hyde capped the evening with a 3-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Spanish Fork managed their lone score with a 30-yard touchdown pass from Nixon Warren to Jaxon Cloward just before halftime, but Timpview’s defense held strong for the remainder of the game.

Orem 37, Maple Mountain 0

Orem (8-2) dominated Maple Mountain (1-9) with a comprehensive 37-0 victory in a Region 7 matchup. The Tigers set the tone early when Tayden Ka’awa connected with Max Stonebraker for a 54-yard touchdown at 8:45 in the first quarter. Ka’awa continued to excel, throwing two more touchdown passes to Kaue Akana in the second quarter. Aoi Faumui added an 80-yard kickoff return for a score in the third quarter. The Orem defense held firm throughout, keeping the Golden Eagles scoreless and securing the shutout win.

Pleasant Grove 48, Payson 0

Pleasant Grove (4-6) dominated Payson (2-8) with a decisive 48-0 victory in a Region 7 matchup. Pleasant Grove surged ahead early, scoring four touchdowns in an explosive first quarter, including a 46-yard punt return by Dexton Nuttall just moments into the game. Connor Ybarra contributed significantly with a 6-yard rushing touchdown and a 24-yard touchdown pass to Carter Wilkes in the third quarter. The Vikings’ defense stifled Payson’s offense throughout, maintaining a shutout and preventing any scoring changes. Pleasant Grove added a final touchdown run by Drew Jensen in the fourth quarter to cap off their commanding performance.

Springville 38, Wasatch 10

Springville (8-1) extended their dominance in Region 7 with a decisive 38-10 victory over Wasatch (4-5) on Friday night. Springville’s Tua Naufahu led the charge with three touchdowns, including an explosive 89-yard run early in the second quarter to give the Red Devils a commanding lead. Wasatch’s only touchdown came from a 13-yard run by Jay Bradley in the second quarter. Springville continued to pull away with a 36-yard touchdown pass from Beckett Burton to Zachary Henderson in the fourth quarter. Ben Smith chipped in with a 31-yard field goal to round out the scoring with 1:49 remaining. The Springville defense stifled Wasatch throughout the second half, holding them scoreless.


Region 8

Park City 42, Uintah 0

Park City (5-4) secured a dominant 42-0 victory over Uintah (1-8) in a Region 8 matchup, marked by explosive offensive plays. The Miners’ quarterback Josh Hofer led the charge, connecting for three touchdown passes, including a 74-yarder to Johnny Hemmesch and two to Eli Warner. Warner also contributed on the ground with a 22-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The Miners’ defense held Uintah scoreless, ensuring their second shutout of the season. Jackson Richey added a 15-yard rushing touchdown early in the fourth quarter to cap Park City’s impressive win.


Region 10

East 59, Cottonwood 0

East (3-6) dominated Cottonwood (0-8) with a 59-0 victory in a Region 10 matchup. Asaeli Otukolo was instrumental in the triumph, scoring on a 37-yard punt return in the third quarter and a 2-yard run in the second. Zamiri Vaughn extended the lead with a 34-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. Jordan narrowed the gap briefly with an 18-yard scoring pass from Dylan Suthar to Landon Tibbets, but Highland responded with a strong third quarter highlighted by a 33-yard run from Manase Wolfgramm. In the fourth quarter, Vili Ripley broke the game open with a 75-yard kick return, and James Conde sealed the win with a 20-yard touchdown reception from Brody Dalton.


Region 11

Sky View 55, Tooele 27

Sky View (5-4) seized control with a dominant third-quarter performance to defeat Tooele (2-7) 55-27 in a Region 11 matchup. The Bobcats scored 28 unanswered points in the third quarter, beginning with Xander Stokes’ 5-yard touchdown run at 9:11, followed by two touchdown passes and a run, effectively putting the game out of reach. Morgan 48, Logan 7

The Cowboys built an insurmountable lead with 29 points in the first half, highlighted by a 30-yard touchdown pass from Dallan Van Vliet to Jaxxon Jensen and a 40-yard fumble recovery for a score by Richie Mouritsen. Grantsville’s offensive assault continued in the third quarter with a 40-yard pass to Jet Fossum and a 1-yard run by Carter Bell. Union’s lone score came from Cruz Labrum’s 40-yard run late in the third quarter. Grantsville’s potent offense and smothering defense stifled Union throughout the game.


3A South

North Sanpete 30, Juab 16

North Sanpete (6-4) ended a decade-long losing streak against Juab (7-3) with a 30-16 victory in a 3A South matchup. Ayden Akee was instrumental in the Hawks’ triumph, running for touchdowns of 50 yards in the first quarter and adding scores in the third and fourth quarters. Milo Hendry’s 21-yard touchdown reception from Maddox Madsen in the second quarter helped North Sanpete build a commanding lead. Rafael Contreras contributed a 24-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter, extending the lead further. Juab’s late rally, including a 9-yard touchdown pass from Price Armstrong to Triston Coleman, wasn’t enough to overcome North Sanpete’s strong start. The Hawks’ defense held the Wasps scoreless for the first three quarters, sealing their first win over Juab since 2015.


Nonregion

Salem Hills 48, Bonneville 7

Salem Hills (5-3) overpowered Bonneville with a dominant showing, winning 48-7 in a nonregion contest. The SkyHawks built an early lead with Ryder Hales throwing a 49-yard touchdown pass to Peyton Higginson in the first quarter. Salem Hills’ defense shined by blocking a kick and turning it into a 21-yard punt return touchdown by Tyler Darrington in the second quarter.
