Obot, who is ranked a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-star recruit and the No. 4 overall player in the 2026 class by Rivals, had three tackles for loss defensively in helping Fruitland beat Homedale, a matchup of the No. 1 vs. No. 3 teams in the Idaho 4A rankings, according to MaxPreps.

That snapped an eight-game losing streak for Fruitland against Homedale, according to Idaho Press.

Obot helped Fruitland roll up 548 yards of total offense in the win, according to MaxPreps. The Grizzlies, who moved to 7-0 on the season and are the top-ranked 4A team in the state in MaxPreps’ rankings, can clinch at least a tie for the 4A Snake River Valley Conference title this week with a win over Weiser.
