Grantsville 2, Canyon View 1

Kamry Allen’s goal in extra time lifted No. 4 seed Grantsville to a 2-1 victory over No. 5 Canyon View in the 3A Playoffs quarterfinals. Lindsey Wangsgard opened the scoring for Grantsville (12-6) in the first half, while Madison Swann netted the equalizer for Canyon View (11-7) in the second. Grantsville will advance to play No. 1 seed Ogden in the semifinals.

Carbon 1, Logan 0

No. 2 seed Carbon advanced to the 3A semifinals with a narrow 1-0 victory over No. 10 Logan, thanks to Malia Smith’s second-half goal. Carbon’s Madi Barlow secured the shutout, helping her team improve to 17-2. The Dinos will face No. 3 seed Manti in the semifinals. Logan finished their season with a 4-11 record.

Manti 3, Richfield 1

No. 3 seed Manti advanced to face No. 2 seed Carbon after a 3-1 victory over No. 6 seed Richfield in the 3A Playoffs. Manti’s strong start saw them take a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Taylie Mickelsen and McKinzee Chidester, who also contributed an assist. Richfield’s Claire Hulet scored in the second half, but Manti’s Madelyn Bridges sealed the win with a third goal. Manti (13-4) will now prepare for the semifinals, while Richfield concludes their season with a 14-6 record.

Ogden 8, Morgan 1

Elle Weston scored a hat trick to lead No. 1 Ogden to an 8-1 victory over No. 9 Morgan in the 3A Playoffs quarterfinals. Ogden (15-2) jumped out quickly with five first-half goals, setting the tone early. Megan Beus also contributed with two goals, while Madison Beus, Bryleigh Thomas, and Paisley Pierce each added one goal for the Tigers. Morgan (5-12) managed a lone second-half goal by Monea Whimpey.

2A Playoffs

St. Joseph 5, Grand 1

Sofia Evans scored three goals and contributed an assist to lead No. 2 St. Joseph to a commanding 5-1 victory over No. 7 Grand in the 2A Playoffs quarterfinals. Bond Ari also added two goals and an assist for the Jayhawks (11-4), while Addison Doebler recorded the win in goal. Gemma Phillips netted the sole goal for the Red Devils (14-4). St. Joseph advances to the semifinals following their dominant performance on home turf.

Maeser Prep 1, Rowland Hall 0

Tess Jorgensen scored the decisive goal in overtime to lead No. 4 Maeser Prep to a 1-0 victory over No. 5 Rowland Hall in the 2A Playoffs quarterfinals. Ruby Dunn assisted on the goal, while Huey Jackson earned the shutout for the Lions, who improved to 14-6. The Winged Lions end their season with a 10-7 record. Maeser Prep advances to the semifinals.

American Heritage 4, American Leadership 0

Ada Werner scored once and added an assist to lead No. 3 American Heritage over No. 6 American Leadership 4-0 in the 2A Playoffs quarterfinals. Phoebe Shepherd and Olivia Knecht also found the net for the Patriots, with Knecht contributing an assist. American Heritage goalkeeper Brinley Hall recorded a shutout to help improve the team’s record to 12-6. American Leadership ends their season with a 13-7 record.

Waterford 10, Beaver 0

Milana Massinople scored six goals to lead No. 1 Waterford to a commanding 10-0 victory over No. 8 Beaver in the 2A playoffs quarterfinals. The Ravens (16-1) jumped to an early lead, scoring seven goals in the first half and maintaining a shutout thanks to goalkeeper Clara Mansfield. Additional contributions came from Whitney Spanos, who scored twice, and Lexee and Berklee Hasebi, who each added another goal, ensuring Waterford’s advance to the next playoff round. Beaver (13-6) was unable to score against the robust Waterford defense.
