The Cougars stayed put at No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches poll with 1,023 points, just six fewer than No. 9 Miami.
BYU will be on a bye this week before traveling to Texas Tech (No. 13 in both polls) on Nov. 8.
Utah (6-2, 3-2 Big 12), following its latest blowout win, climbed back into the rankings one week after falling just outside the top 25. The Utes are No. 24 in both the AP and US LBM Coaches rankings.
It sets up a top 25 matchup next weekend when Utah hosts Cincinnati, who is now No. 17 in the AP poll and No. 16 in the US LBM Coaches rankings.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be in town for the Utah-Cincinnati matchup, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. MDT.

There are five total Big 12 teams in the national top 25 rankings this week, led by BYU.
It’s the first time this season that five Big 12 teams have been ranked in the same week.
In addition to Utah moving back into the polls, Houston (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) is a newcomer to the rankings after going into Tempe and beating previously ranked Arizona State 24-16.
The Cougars are now No. 22 in both the AP and Coaches rankings.
Texas Tech (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) beat Oklahoma State 42-0 and moved up one spot to No. 13 in the AP poll and two spots to No. 13 in the US LBM Coaches rankings.
Cincinnati (7-1, 5-0 Big 12) stayed unbeaten in conference play by beating Baylor 41-20. The Bearcats moved up four spots to No. 17 in the AP rankings and five to No. 16 in the Coaches top 25.

On the Coaches side, the top 10 all stayed the same. That included Ohio State remaining at No. 1, followed by Indiana at No. 2, Texas A&M at No. 3, Alabama at No. 4 and Georgia at No. 5.
