BYU and Utah are both rolling as the first College Football Playoff rankings is about to be released.

While the Cougars were idle this past weekend, the then-No. 24 Utes flew past then-No. 17 Cincinnati 45-14 in a matchup of two ranked Big 12 foes late Saturday night.

Combined with three top 10 teams losing, both BYU and Utah moved up in the latest top 25 rankings.

Where are BYU and Utah ranked in the latest AP and US LBM Coaches polls after Week 10?

BYU (8-0, 5-0 Big 12) moved up two spots to No. 8 in the latest Associated Press rankings, receiving 1,207 points, as fellow top 10 teams Georgia Tech, Miami and Vanderbilt all lost over the weekend.

BYU moved up two spots to No. 8 in the latest US LBM Coaches poll with 1,023 points.

It sets up a top 10 matchup for the Cougars this week as they get back to play. BYU will play at Texas Tech (No. 9 AP, No. 9 Coaches) on Saturday.

Utah (7-2, 4-2 Big 12), following a second straight blowout win, moved up seven spots to No. 17 in the AP rankings, with 560 points, and jumped five spots to No. 19 in the US LBM Coaches poll (476 points).

The Utes are on a bye this week before traveling to face Baylor on Nov. 15.

Which Big 12 teams are ranked following Week 10?

There are four Big 12 teams in the national top 25 rankings this week, led by BYU.

The Red Raiders (8-1, 5-1 Big 12) moved up four spots in both polls after beating Kansas State 43-20 on the road.

Cincinnati (7-2, 5-1 Big 12) fell eight spots to No. 25 in the AP poll after losing to Utah and dropped nine spots to No. 25 in the Coaches rankings.

Houston (7-2, 4-2 Big 12), which entered the top 25 rankings last week, fell out after losing to unranked West Virginia 45-35.

When will the first College Football Playoff rankings come out?

The first of six College Football Playoff rankings will be released on Tuesday at 6 p.m. MST. The rankings will be revealed on ESPN.

Who are the top 5 in the AP and US LBM Coaches rankings?

While the top 10 experienced changes in the bottom half with Georgia Tech, Miami and Vanderbilt all losing, the top 5 in both the AP and US LBM Coaches rankings stayed the same.

In the AP top 25, Ohio State is at No. 1, followed by Indiana at No. 2, Texas A&M at No. 3, Alabama at No. 4 and Georgia at No. 5.

On the Coaches side, the top 5 looks the same as the AP poll, with Ohio State at No. 1, Indiana at No. 2, Texas A&M at No. 3, Alabama at No. 4 and Georgia at No. 5.
