BYU, as one of three Big 12 teams with one conference loss, still controls its destiny to reach the conference championship game if the Cougars win out. That starts with a home game against TCU this Saturday (8:15 p.m. MST, ESPN).
Utah (7-2, 4-2 Big 12) was idle this week, yet the Utes moved up in the rankings.
Utah climbed two spots to No. 15 in the AP rankings with 695 points. The Utes are also No. 15 in the Coaches rankings with 635 points, jumping four spots this week.
