Even after suffering its first loss of the season, BYU is sticking in the top 10.

Following a narrow, two-point loss to UConn in Boston this past weekend, the Cougars slid two spots from No. 7 to No. 9 in Tuesday’s latest AP Top 25 poll.

It’s the third consecutive top-10 poll for BYU, as the Cougars opened at No. 8 in the preseason rankings, rose to No. 7 last week and now find themselves at No. 9.

In KenPom, BYU sits at No. 15, having jumped three spots after taking UConn down to the wire.
