It’s déjà vu all over again for Utah following this past weekend’s win over Baylor.

Byrd Ficklin has earned his second Big 12 Freshman of the Week award, while Utah’s offensive line took home Offensive Line of the Week for the fourth time this season, the conference announced Monday.

Ficklin provided a major spark for the Utes in Waco, as the backup quarterback came off the bench for 166 rushing yards on just six carries and going for touchdown runs of 67 and 74 yards.

According to Utah Athletics, Ficklin’s 166 rushing yards are a single-game program record for quarterbacks.

The Utes’ offensive line was excellent up front, paving the way for 380 team rushing yards against Baylor at an average of 8.8 yards per carry. Utah has now put up three separate 300-yard rushing games this season.
