Provo Dave is absolutely moved to tears by how many Utah fans are telling me how lucky Michigan is to get Kyle Whittingham and how excited they are to watch Kyle win a Natty with Michigan. It means a lot.

Kyle Whittingham is exactly what Michigan needs as a program right now.

Runs a disciplined program with an edge to it.
Is a defense first coach who will play complimentary football.
Eager to prove he isn’t done winning.
Sounds like what Michigan itself needs. pic.twitter.com/igcW6WfXxI
LOVE Coach Whittingham going to Michigan.

Both Whittingham and Campbell (PSU) have proven to be successful and know exactly who they are.. GREAT tough football coaches who now.. get a brinks truck and HUGE brands behind their vision
CONGRATS to Michigan on finding their guy pic.twitter.com/kPjdFHsDZ9
Kyle is a top 5 coach in CFB and has been for over a decade. Incredible hire by Michigan. Watch out. Wow!!

Winning
Traits you want in your head coach…they also perfectly describe Kyle Whittingham
Excellent hire
Kyle Whittingham to Michigan is like when the 8th grade math teacher gets fired for improprieties and the principal has to come in and teach the final nine weeks because they can't get anybody else to do it. But also he likes math.

I’m still confused why Utah moved on from Whittingham. Such an underrated great coach and a huge steal for Michigan

Kyle Whittingham to Michigan
What a time to be alive. https://t.co/QtBFToBHce
Whitt always looked better in blue anyway. https://t.co/OjyvPdf97T

I can’t wait for BYU to beat Michigan for another national championship next year.

Michigan about to get crazy good!!!! Congrats @UtahCoachWhitt https://t.co/ZKBjC5Owfx

The biggest bummer in all of this is not Whitt taking another job. It’s losing Jason Beck when it felt like there was some very positive momentum heading into next year.
— Ute Nation Alum (@UteNationAlum) December 26, 2025
At least we got to experience a prolific offense for one year I guess. 😭
If Whitt takes the @UMichFootball job. We will very quickly find out how important it is to him to “leave @Utah_Football program in a good place”
— Sean O'Connell (@realOCsports) December 26, 2025
It’s quite probable that this is a good thing for Michigan and for Whitt and for Utah all at once.

Scalley era let’s go. There is not a person on earth more “Utah Man” than this man. I am ready.
