BYU’s 13-game win streak came to an end this past weekend against Texas Tech, prompting a slide in the AP Top 25 poll for the second week in a row.

The Cougars came in at No. 13 in Monday’s updated rankings, dropping two spots from their No. 11 spot last week and five spots overall from their No. 8 preseason ranking.

The Red Raiders, however, leapfrogged BYU in the poll to come in at No. 12.

BYU is joined by five other Big 12 squads in this week’s poll — No. 1 Arizona, No. 6 Houston, No. 9 Iowa State, No. 12 Texas Tech and No. 19 Kansas.

Additionally, BYU’s two preseason exhibition opponents — Nebraska and UNC — each came in at No. 7 and No. 22, respectively.
