High school girls wrestling: Enterprise, Duchesne prevailed in respective 2A/1A Division meets

The 2A/1A girls state qualifying Division meets were held on Saturday, with wrestlers officially qualifying for the 2026 state tournament.

Enterprise and defending state champion Duchesne won their respective Division meets.

The girls 2A/1A state tournament will be held at the Sevier Valley Center on Feb. 13-14.

Duchesne’s Abigail wood will be going for a 3-peat at the state tournament.

Eight different wrestlers will be hoping to repeat as state champs: Enterprise’s Diana Montanez, Duchesne’s Ariana Jones, Duchesne’s Mckenlee Sprecher, Rich’s Lexi Rowe, San Juan’s Saraeya Mills, San Juan’s Khatira Keith, Enterprise’s Austyn Carpenter, South Sevier’s Bahozhoni Johnson.
