The NFL combine wrapped up on Sunday, ending a week of testing, drills and interviews by prospects in the lead-up to April’s NFL draft.

Five Utah players were on hand at the combine, and the clear winners were offensive tackles Spencer Fano and Caleb Lomu.

Fano, widely considered to be one of the best offensive tackles in the 2026 draft, is projected as high as the No. 3 overall pick in some mock drafts. If he is selected prior to No. 8, Fano would become the second-highest player ever selected from Utah behind only 2005 No. 1 pick Alex Smith.

Lomu could also be selected as a first-round pick.

Here’s how each of the five former Utes did at the combine.

Spencer Fano, OT

Height: 6’ 5 1/2’’

Weight: 311

Arm: 32 1/8’’

Hand: 9’’

40-Yard Dash: 4.91 seconds

Vertical Jump: 32”

Broad Jump: 9’ 3’’

3-Cone Drill: 7.34 seconds

20-Yd Shuttle: 4.67 seconds

How he performed: Fano, already in the mix to become the first offensive tackle selected, definitely helped himself with Sunday’s combine performance.

His 4.91-second 40-yard dash time was the second-fastest among offensive linemen, and his three-cone drill topped the leaderboard in his position.

Fano’s athleticism is a big reason why he will be drafted highly, and he proved that athleticism again in an impressive combine performance.

His overall “combine score” of 91, per Next Gen Stats, ranks first among offensive tackles.

Caleb Lomu, OT

Height: 6’ 6’’

Weight: 313

Arm: 33 3/8’’

Hand: 9 1/2’’

40-Yard Dash: 4.99 seconds

Vertical Jump: 32.5”

Broad Jump: 9’ 5’’

How he performed: Like Fano, Lomu has athleticism in spades and displayed that at the combine, as his 40-yard dash time, vertical jump and broad jump were all in the top 10 among offensive linemen.

His “combine score” of 81 ranks second among offensive tackles. Already considered a potential first round pick, Lomu may have shown enough at the combine to jump up the draft board.

Dallen Bentley, TE

Height: 6’ 4’’

Weight: 253

Arm: 33 1/8’’

Hand: 9 1/4’’

40-Yard Dash: 4.62 seconds

Vertical Jump: 35”

Broad Jump: 9’ 10’’

20-Yd Shuttle: 4.42 seconds

Bench press: 24 reps

How he performed: Bentley improved his stock at the combine with an “athleticism score” of 81, seventh among tight ends, and an overall score of 75, sixth among tight ends.

His 40-yard dash time ranked eighth among tight ends. Will it be enough to move Bentley into a late-round draft selection?

Lander Barton, LB

Height: 6’ 5’’

Weight: 233

Arm: 32 1/4’’

Hand: 9 1/2’’

How he performed: Barton did not participate in testing, but was on hand for interviews with teams.

Logan Fano, DE
