Ace Bailey added a feather to his cap on Wednesday.
The NBA announced the 2025-26 All-Rookie teams, with Bailey named to the All-Rookie Second Team.
In addition to the Utah Jazz rookie, the All-Rookie Second Team included New Orleans’ Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen, Sacramento’s Maxime Raynaud and Toronto’s Collin Murray-Boyles.
The All-Rookie First Team was headlined by Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg (Dallas Mavericks) and included Charlotte’s Kon Knueppel, Philadelphia’s VJ Edgecombe, San Antonio’s Dylan Harper and Memphis’ Cedric Coward.
An international media panel of 100 voters selected the All-Rookie teams. Voters chose five players for the First Team and five players for the Second Team. Players received two points for each First Team vote and one point for each Second Team vote.
Flagg, Knueppel and Edgecombe were unanimous First Team selections.
Bailey is the first Jazz player to make an All-Rookie selection since Keyonte George, who was also named to the All-Rookie Second Team in 2024.
In 2023, Walker Kessler was a First Team selection, the first Jazz All-Rookie selection since Donovan Mitchell in 2018.
In his rookie season, Bailey put up averages of 13.8 points and 4.2 rebounds. Following the All-Star break, Bailey averaged 18.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting 43.3% overall and 35% from 3-point range.
