The Utah Jazz have agreed to terms on a two-year, $12 million deal with free agent center Jaxson Hayes who most recently played for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hayes’ reposted the news, first reported by ESPN, to his Instagram story on Wednesday with the caption, “Excited to get to work. Let’s go Jazz.”

Hayes, 26, spent three seasons in L.A. after playing the first four of his NBA career with the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Jazz are bringing back center Jusuf Nurkić on a two-year deal, but traded Walker Kessler to the Lakers on Wednesday, increasing the need to fill out their center rotation with additional players.
