There have only been two times when an SEC school has played at Rice-Eccles Stadium, and both times, the visiting team went away with a loss.

That included Saturday’s dominant 43-10 win for Utah, which scored 43 unanswered points en route to routing Arkansas in a late-night matchup.

Similar to three years ago when the Utes beat Florida 24-11 at Rice-Eccles Stadium, Utah built a double-digit lead at halftime and put away any hope for the visiting SEC school to rally.

The school also honored former Utah All-American Eric Weddle, as he was enshrined into the Ring of Honor at halftime.

It all made for a memorable night at Rice-Eccles Stadium, as the Utes improved to 2-0 on the young season and climbed to No. 17 in the Associated Press rankings following the victory.
