Blue skies, cool breezes and vibrant displays highlight the third annual Neighborhood Chalk Festival in the Creek Road Terrace neighborhood of Sandy on Friday and Saturday.
What started as a small neighborhood gathering has grown into a beloved local tradition, bringing together residents, families, and local artists to turn ordinary driveways into a vibrant, temporary outdoor gallery.
Crowds gathered along the route to see the colorful visual displays. Deseret News photojournalist Rio Giancarlo captured some of the artists in action and the finished products.
