No car is safe ... or at least it is starting to feel that way.

Just over a week after Subaru announced their recall of close to 500,000 cars due to safety issues with the airbag, Toyota is announcing an even bigger recall that includes about 700,000 Toyota and Lexus cars in the U.S.

The issue, CNN reports, is the fuel pumps, which stop working if a vehicle stalls at a high speed. When this happens, the car’s engine could fail or be affected, increasing the likelihood of a crash.

According to CBS News, the recall covers the 2018 and 2019 models of the cars, including the Toyota 4Runner, Camry, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma and Tundra models are part of the recall, as well as the 2019 Avalon and Corolla.

The Lexus LS 500, LC 500, RC 350, RC 300, GS 350, IS 300, ES 350, LX 570, GX 460, RX 350 and the 2019 NX 300, RX 250L and GS 300 models are included in the recall, too.

What should you do if your car is on the list? Nothing ... yet. According to CNET, Toyota still doesn’t know how to fix the problem, but anticipates they’ll find one before sending recall notices in March. The fixes will be made for free.

For now, owners of these vehicles should pay extra heed to any warning lights on their dashboards, and be wary if their engines start running differently unexpectedly, Newsweek reports.
