President Donald Trump issued a new statement about his novel coronavirus diagnosis Friday in a video message.
- Trump said: “I’m going to Walter Reed Hospital, I think I’m doing very well but we’re going to make sure that things work out. The First Lady is doing very well.”
Trump traveled to Walter Reed Medical Center to work from offices there for a few days, according to multiple reports, due to his coronavirus diagnosis.
Trump is heading to the military hospital “out of an abundance of caution,” one official told The Washington Post.
The hospital has a space for the president to work in. There is an office space there that is used for that exact reason. Trump will reportedly undergo tests there, too.
