Americans have already embraced holiday shopping amid the coronavirus pandemic — mainly because they’re bored at home.

Affirm released the results of a new survey that asked 2,000 Americans about their shopping habits for the holiday season.

Here are some of the findings:

  • Half of Americans are shopping online now for the holidays because they’re bored.
  • Forty-seven percent said they already started shopping for the holidays.
  • Forty-eight percent said they plan on holiday shopping online in 2020.
  • About 70% said they’re more likely to buy items now instead of waiting for sale days.
  • About 80% said they’d try to pay off all their purchases by Christmas.
  • Seventeen percent of people plan to travel this holiday season.
