Vice President Mike Pence and Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris participated in a historic debate from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and social media had so much to say.
Pence and Harris — behind plexiglass barriers — made their case to the American people for why their candidate should be elected to the White House in the 2020 election.

In perhaps the most obscure moment, a fly landed on Pence’s head, igniting a social media firestorm as people across the country — including Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell — reacted to the moment.
“Is that a fly???” Mitchell tweeted.
Most social media users cracked jokes about wanting to hear from the fly and what its political stance might be for the upcoming election.
A lot of the reaction centered on the candidates not answering their questions.
