A 3-year-old girl in Taiwan is safe after she was swept away into the sky after she became entangled around a streamer during a festival over the weekend, The New York Times reports.

  • Strong winds swept her off the ground. For 30 seconds, she was suspended in the air. Screams rang out all around as she flipped through the air.
  • She landed safely a short time later after adults found a way to grab her, Fox News reports.
  • She had abrasions around her neck and face, though. She traveled to a hospital for an examination, the mayor of Hsinchu, Lin Chih-chien, wrote in a Facebook post, according to The New York Times.
