Special days known as “food holidays” have skyrocketed in popularity over the past few years and, more often than not, these holidays come with freebies and discounts for all to enjoy.
Jan. 15 marks one of the first food holidays of the year, National Bagel Day and — just like last year’s cheeseburger day, doughnut day and cookie day — restaurants across the country are celebrating with special deals.
Here are six national food chains and companies that are offering Bagel Day deals on Jan. 15 (via TODAY):
Bantam Bagels
The company behind stuffed, bite-sized variants of the classic breakfast pastry is selling its products online at a 20% discount from Jan. 14 to 17. Be sure to use the code BAGEL20 at checkout.
Bruegger’s Bagels
Starting on Jan. 15 and continuing all the way until the end of the month, Bruegger’s Bagels is giving customers a free bagel and cream cheese when they order anything through the company’s mobile app.
Einstein Bros. Bagels
Similar to Bruegger’s, Einstein Bros. Bagels is offering a free egg sandwich to customers who use the restaurant’s mobile app to place an order. This special deal runs from Jan. 15 through the end of the month.
Goldbelly
Several bagel vendors are offering special deals through the online food marketplace, Goldbelly. Deals include a Ess-A-Bagel’s BOGO New York Bagel Brunch and Zucker’s Bagels’ Bagel Brunch Kit, which is offering six free additional bagels and free cookies.
Philadelphia Cream Cheese
To celebrate National Bagel Day, Philadelphia Cream Cheese is giving away 10,000 free tubs of its famous spread. Those interested can visit Ibotta (the link to enter will be live on Jan. 15) to enter to win.
Tim Hortons
Participating Tim Hortons franchises will be selling bagels for just $1 on Jan. 15, but the deal is exclusively available to customers who order online or with the Tim Hortons app.
