Larry King, the radio and TV broadcasting icon, passed away at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday morning.

As previously reported on the Deseret News, King had been hospitalized with COVID-19 in December, though it remains unclear if the virus is what ultimately led to his death.

According to NBC News, the journalist had endured a variety of health problems for many years, including diabetes and a near-fatal stroke in 2019.

Moments after King’s passing was announced on Twitter on Saturday, notable actors, singers, political figures and media members to took social media to post photos and share their memories with the late interviewer.
