Lori Vallow Daybell has been found “not competent” to stand trial, according to multiple reports.

Vallow Daybell will now need to undergo psychological treatment until she can be deemed competent to deal with the murder charges against her.

Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow Daybell were indicted on murder charges Tuesday, facing “two counts of first-degree murder” in connection with the deaths of Tylee Ryan, 17, and Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, who were Lori Vallow’s children according to the Deseret News.

Chad and Lori Daybell could face the death penalty in the trial, according to KSL-TV. In fact, prosecutors have 60 days to decide whether or not to pursue the death penalty against the Idaho couple, who allegedly “used their religious beliefs to justify killing JJ, and to justify or encourage the death of his sister and Tammy Daybell,” according to the Deseret News.
