A TikTok user has claimed that Brian Laundrie, the missing boyfriend of the late Gabby Petito, might be in Canada.

TikTok user @cwlynnn, who said she is a flight attendant, said in a video that she was in Toronto when she noticed a man who resembled Laundrie.

  • The man seemed “flustered” when he walked out of a Toronto hotel, she said, per Fox 35 Orlando. He then reportedly got into a car and drove off with someone.

Late last week, the U.S. District Court of Wyoming has issued a federal arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie for “use of unauthorized access device” related to activities after the death of Petito, whose body was found in Wyoming on Sunday, Sept. 19.

Laundrie and Petito went on a cross-country road trip this summer. Only Laundrie returned to their home in North Port, Florida, on Sept. 1. Petito was reported missing on Sept. 11.

Social media and TikTok have become a massive source of information in regards to Petito and Laundrie. Earlier in September, TikTok user Miranda Baker said she and her boyfriend picked up Laundrie who had been seeking a ride near Colter Bay, Wyoming, according to CNN.

  • Laundrie said he would pay $200 for the ride before he got into the car, Baker said, per CNN.
  • Laundrie “looked clean and didn’t smell bad,” Baker said.
