Photos: Who’s a good dog? Utah pet owners strut their mutts during annual fundraising event in Salt Lake City

Scout, a golden retriever, plays with a dog mascot during Strut Your Mutt at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City on Saturday. During the annual event, Best Friends Animal Society teamed up with rescue groups, shelters and animal welfare groups to help save the lives of homeless cats and dogs. It featured 50-plus vendors, activity zones for pets and children, a beverage garden, food trucks, live entertainment and contests. This year, the society hoped to raise $180,000. As of Saturday night, the funds raised stood at $117,929.54.
