SALT LAKE CITY — Starting on Tuesday, members of the public can share ideas and priorities for their neighborhoods with Mayor-elect Erin Mendenhall at branch libraries across the city.
“It is important to me that this transition be inclusive and promote equity across our city, so we need to invite all voices to the table,” Mendenhall said in a statement.
“You can’t govern this city effectively by staying inside City Hall. I’m really excited to hear from people who otherwise might not be able to engage directly with their city’s next leader about the issues facing their neighborhoods and ideas for making the city better for everyone.”
Mendenhall will hold open “office hours” at the following times and locations:
• Tuesday, Nov. 26, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Marmalade Branch, 280 W. 500 North.
• Saturday, Dec. 7, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Anderson-Foothill Branch, 1135 S. 2100 East.
• Saturday, Dec. 14: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Glendale Branch, 1375 Concord St.
• Tuesday, Dec. 17, 5 p.m. 7 p.m., Day-Riverside Branch, 1575 W. 1000 North.
