SOUTH JORDAN — Police are on the lookout for the gunman involved in an early Thursday morning shooting that erupted at a large house party in South Jordan, leaving a trio of men with gunshot wounds.

Few details were available, but South Jordan Police Lt. Matt Pennington said officers believe the 2:30 a.m. incident near South Jordan Parkway and the Mountain View Corridor was possibly gang-related. He added there is little danger to the immediate public in the area.

All three victims had to undergo surgery. One man was shot eight times, and the two other were hit by a single bullet that Pennington said was likely “collateral damage.”
