SALT LAKE CITY — New data from All Home Connections found that Brigham Young University is the “most Instagrammed” college in the state of Utah.

The first annual report researched hashtag data from around the country to find the most Instagrammed campus in each of the states.

The report specifically looked at data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System. The researchers reviewed schools with at least 7,000 enrolled full-time students as of fall 2017. The school couldn’t be an online-only school, either. The report then analyzed each of the most popular and most unique hashtags for those schools.

“Being in the business of connectivity, our team are constantly looking into trends and data that better reveal how we spend our time online, and how that translates into real world actions,” All Home Connections said in a press release.

BYU topped the list through the simple hashtag, #BYU.

Meanwhile, #rolltide led the way for the University of Alabama. The report found 60% of the school’s students have used the hashtag in the past.

The University of Southern California and the University of Florida offers master’s programs in social media, which, the report says, might be why the students there are active on Instagram.

Interestingly, all the universities mentioned in the report are older than Instagram.
