FARR WEST, Weber County — A Riverdale man was killed Monday night in a single-car crash on I-15, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

Cayden Bright, 23, was the minivan’s driver and only occupant, according to police.

Bright was driving a 2000 Honda Odyssey north on the highway about 9:30 p.m. when he drove off the road to the left, hit the concrete barrier and rolled, according to the UHP. He was ejected from the car and died from his injuries.

Investigators do not know why Bright drove off the road.

Police said Bright was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. His car rolled out into the travel lane and was hit by a semitrailer, according to Utah Highway Patrol.
