SALT LAKE CITY — A woman critically injured after being hit by a car near the University of Utah has died, police said Sunday.
The woman, 60, was crossing the road at the intersection of Foothill Drive and Wakara Way in Salt Lake City on Saturday when she was struck about 6:45 a.m., Salt Lake Police Lt. Brett Olsen said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, he said.
The woman’s name and city of residence were not immediately released.
