SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police on Tuesday released the identity of a badly decomposed body found by a hiker in Hell Canyon.
The remains of Robert Lowery, 51, were found Sunday. Police say Lowery was homeless. His name was released after officers were able to locate relatives.
A cause of death had not been determined as of Tuesday. But police do not consider his death suspicious.
