MILLCREEK — A 65-year-old man was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon, police said.

The man was shot in the arm in the 2000 East area of Sierra Ridge Court, according to Unified police. The suspected shooter is 88 years old, police said. Officers originally reported he was 86.

The shooting victim was taken to the hospital after a neighbor found him in the street. He is expected to survive.

The 88-year-old suspected gunman was also taken to the hospital Thursday evening after barricading himself inside a home for several hours after the shooting. Multiple gunshots were heard from inside the home while he was barricaded inside.

No information about the older man’s condition was immediately available.
